The Sacred Harvest: Radha & The Path of Grace

(Autumn Equinox / Radhashtami)

As the Autumn Equinox approaches and the earth shifts into a state of perfect balance, we gather to harvest the wisdom of the year and transition from outward expansion into inward reflection.

This evening draws its inspiration from Radhashtami—the appearance day of Radha, who represents the ultimate embodiment of Prema (divine, unconditional love), longing, and supreme grace.

In the Bhakti tradition, if Hanuman represents the fierce leap of faith, Radha represents the soft, effortless surrender to the flow of grace. This is a journey of returning to the source within the silence—allowing the analytical mind to quiet so the hidden rivers of intuition can flow.

In this session, we will move through a Somatic Descent. We will use the warm, grounding drone of the harmonium to lead a communal Bhajan, weaving sacred mantras dedicated to Radha into the space to open the heart chrysalis. These sounds are designed to balance our internal world, honor the harvest of our hearts, and align our personal energy with the cooling, reflective cycle of September.

Like Radha, we will use our collective breath to melt into a state of deep devotion, cultivating a strength defined by absolute receptivity and trust.

The Sonic Journey * The Calling of Grace: We begin with a low, grounding hum of the harmonium, creating a steady vibrational foundation to soothe the nervous system and call our awareness inward.

• Devotional Chant (Mantra & Harmonium): Activating the heart center. A practice of opening the heart chrysalis, using a simple, rhythmic mantra dedicated to Radha to call forth the frequency of unconditional love and deep peace.

• Crystalline Bowls: Bringing the soft, luminous "moonlight" of sound into the space, focusing on the higher chakras to clear the mind and invite a state of clear, focused inner vision.

• Planetary Gongs: A "Lunar Wash"—deep, undulating, ocean-like frequencies designed to wash over the body, settling the busy summer fire into a cool, grounded glow.

A Communal Landing: To ground our shared experience, we will gather for a comforting, seasonal tea infusion paired with a sweet Prasad of local harvest fruits, celebrating the abundance of the season and the warmth of our shared community.
